What is a Netbook?

A Netbook is a light, small and generallaly inexpensive form of laptop, that are designed for general computing tasks and Web browsing.
There recent surge in popularity has created competition on the market and the specifications of netbooks have improved considerably since their first release, and as a result it is possible to do more and more activities on Netbooks.
Most Netbooks come with either Windows XP or a distribution of Linux, and a full suite of office, web & communication applications.
