I’ve been looking for a MMORPG which works on the Linux version of the Acer Aspire One, as most are designed to be run on Windows.

One MMORPG which works on the Acer Aspire One is DOFUS which runs on Flash in browser.
I found out about DOFUS at the Aspire One User Forum.

To install DOFUS:
1) In FIrefox go to the DOFUS download site here.
2) Click once on the link that says “If you do not use Windows, please click here.”
3) Click on the Download DOFUS icon.
4) When the download box opens make sure that open is selected and click ok.
5) When the file has downloaded click on extract.
6) Select where you want to extract the files to, check the top 2 options and click on extract.

7) This will extract the application into the chosen directory.

However the application won’t run yet as you will need to set the flash permissions.
Click on this link to open the Flash permissions.
9) Make sure that the always allow check box is selected and pull down the Edit Locations List Box.

10) Add your DOFUS directory to the list of trusted files.
11) With FireFox, open the Dofus.html file in your DOFUS directory.
12) Press F11 to put FireFox into Full screen mod
