Since December 2008, I’ve been running a blog to describe how I get the best out of my Acer Aspire One, Unfortunatly Google in it’s wisdom decided to delete all my blogs, including My Netbook-Experience blog.

So I’ve created this new blog which is properly hosted and should keep all my posts safe.

I’ll slowly recreate all my posts on here as I look to get this blog back on it’s feet and take it forward again.

John, what could be a great addition is instructions how to install calibre on the Aspire one. Calibre is an indepedent e-reader interface and one of the few that support linux. The program looks cool (check out http://calibre-ebook.com ). It would be great to have your netbook and ereader as travel companions. Calibre seems to be crucial as I cannot find another piece of software that would support so many formats.

    Thanks,

    Herman

    Hi Herman
    Good idea.
I’m investigating it, I’m struggling finding the right version of python for it, but I’ll see what I can do.

    Cheers
